We are extremely aware that translation projects are very much about trust and if they are not familiar with the foreign language a client will just have to accept the translation as it is. Unlike faulty products which can be spotted instantly, or a poor service that will be recognised straight away, translations, however poor, often find their way on to front pages, prints and websites, and even TV. However amusing these stories may be, they make the brand behind them look unprofessional and untrustworthy, an image that no organisation can afford to have.
Tongue Tied only works with the best translators/interpreters on the market, many of whom have been working with us for a very long time. These linguists work exclusively into their mother tongue as, however well a language has been studied and is spoken, only a first language speaker is ever able to fully understand and therefore interpret the intent, style and vocal tone from one language to another. Moreover we conduct strict quality controls that will only allow us to assign the most suitable translators/interpreters for the respective project.
We understand the importance of confidentiality in translations, particularly when working with sensitive documentation. All of our translators have signed a full non-disclosure agreement with Tongue Tied and we can assure you that your documents are in safe hands and will only ever be looked at by the relevant translator, proofreader and your designated project manager; we will never pass on any information.
